tbh I really like my generation because I feel like we have a “we deserve more than we’re getting” mentality and I feel like older generations are like “you can’t always be happy” and “you can’t always do what you want” and ours is taking a dramatic step and being like “why not??” and being the first to really question a society where its citizens dreams and happiness are expected to take a backseat to things like capitalism idk

Capitalism is why you’re free. That’s why you have choices. That’s how you make money, so you can do the shit you want. If you want shit handed to you on a platter, you can kiss your hard earned money goodbye. You’re gonna have to work no matter what, might as well keep it. Go ahead, vote for Bernie and get your “free” healthcare, “free” college and “free” everything. It won’t be possible. You’ll be taxed out the asshole and it still won’t work. Vote Republican, work hard for your dollar. You’d be amazed the feeling of accomplishment you get when you work a hard 50-60 hour week and actually get paid. Try it. Maybe you’ll understand that this country was built on hard work and capitalism. Don’t like it? Get the fuck out. Grow up and learn how shit works.
